Default Problems running in os 18tm.

Ive just installed a os 18tm into my revo and went out to break the engine in. I fitted the flywheel, clutch shoes and clutch bell on correctly as per traxxas exploded diagrams but when i start the engine to run it in the crankshaft and flywheel spin but the clutch bell isn't and the truck doesn't move at all. Ive idled thru the first tank of fuel.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

sounds like you installed the clutch shoes in the opposite direction that they are supposed to be,it happens especially when your all exited about a new engine

yes both sides look the same ,but when you intsall the shoes on the pins, turn the flywheel so the pins are horizontal, when you putt left shoe on it should point up,right shoe pointing down.if you have them the opposite way they wont engage the clutch bell

oh yes it will wake up,it comes from the factory with really rich settings on the needles, remember you may have to lean it out an 1/8 turn on the hsn,and maybe a 1/16 on lsn after every tank as the engine wears in.if its back to revving again check the flywheel nut,it would not be the first one to ever come loose, especially if you didnt use some lock tite,

tried to carry on with the break in earlier but the throttle servo has now decided to stop working so will have to get one of those tommorow. will run another few break in tanks off and let u know if she wakes up (lazy git) lol
