I currently have a wasp .28 and it sucks. After about 1 tank of running (if I can even get it started) it will stall all over the place. I just want a reliable engine. I would prefer decent performance but I dont race so I dont care if it is wonderful. Mainly I am just looking for a pull start engine that is easy to tune and will run with out stalling.

The only BB Bengines I have experience with are the Force .28 that came in my CRT RTR and an O.S. VG .21 that I put in a buggy. I have been very happy with the Force engine. It isn't a racer but it starts right up every time, holds a tune, and runs strong. I rarely have to adjust the tune.
My O.S. engine is just broken in but it also seems like a decent engine. It takes a little longer to warm up and runs a little hotter than the Force but that could just be because it is newer.
Both engines idle well and the only times I have had them stall are when i run them out of fuel.
Oh, I have shaft starts on both of these engines but both of them start very easily once primed.

I have two STS engines and they both will run with a $300+ engine. www.projectzen.net www.stsmicroengines.com

Give it some time to break-in...
Try leaning the needles a little bit and it should be easier to start.

its had a couple of gallons through it. During an independent run, it will run for maybe one tank then, will not run for a while. mabey I will just get a new piston/sleve, but I am really sick of this engine. the Picco sounds interesting
