Default drill instead of roto

i have a roto backplate on my picco and i was wondering if i could just use a drill with the shaft in stead of the roto starter.

If your drill has a fast enough rpm it will work. I use a drill on mine.

You want to be sure that the drill has a clutch system. Drills have lots more torque than the roto wand and can cause serious damage if the engine floods.
But, yes, a drill will start the engine.
