Default Whats the Difference

Is there any differecne with the crankshaft of the Mach .26 and the Mach .26ss? because im confused.. which engine would be better for a buggy.. im piecing together a 26ss now and i was just wondering... thanks..

ps.. where can i get good prices on stuff like a crank anyway..

I couldnet tell you without looking at the engine and mor importantly, seeing its innards. The port configuration could be different. The block passage ways could be refined. More importantly, the timing profile could be more aggressive. Timing profile is the primary factor that determins if one engine will prodice moer power than another. All other stuff only have little, if any, effect on power increase.

thanks alot for the help... ill just stick with trying to find a crank for the ss instead of the original ... thaks again
