I just got a LRP 28 and when i shoot my infered temp guage at the glow plug it tells me 115 or so after running for about 2 minutes. When i point it at the exhaust entrence it shows about 210 or so (im assuming that is more accurate) Where should i point to get the best READING of my engines temp?!

yes but i read that sometimes on certain engines shooting from the glow plug will cause it to give you a wrong reading. Which i believe i am experiecncing (glow plug 115 exhaust port 210)....

being in break-in it could be 190, but I have heard of the flashpoint (duratrax) being 70 dgrees off. at 190 you should be abke to touch the top of the head, if you can then your engine running too cool, also try the water test, put a drop of water donw by the plug and it should boil away in about 2-3sec if the engine is around 230-240 where it needs to be for break-in.

Make sure there is no dust on the sensor. It will throw off the reading by 50F easily and it will always read low.
I've got the blue Duratrax too.
