Replacement Piston/Sleeve for Drake Motor...
I'm sitting here with my .12 platinum edition drake engine, with no piston or sleeve because the other one is worn out. For some odd reason Trinity doesn't carry any replacement piston/sleeves for it, so I was wondering what company would make a piston/sleeve that would fit it? O.S. Has no idea, they haven't tested it.. Anyone else tried this?

wow, thats a pricey engine! If you can't find the PS and are just bashing get the OS .18 CV-R. If you are racing OS has a discontinued OS .12 CV-R that you can still find online. If you were to find a P/S for the Drkae .12, expect it to be about $100.

Isn't a drake motor basically modified?
So if you buy a new PS wouldn't that mean that it'll be going back to "stock"?

If all else fails, try e-mailing Trinity to see how much a rebuild kit costs.

I was repinching it myself, getting everything ready for it, and I noticed scarring and such, so it's pretty toast.. I've e-mailed Trinity, about a week ago, hopefully I'll get something soon.. I've also looked on Tower and aMain hobbies for one but they don't have neither .. But I can definately check again.

The old version was discontinued. $381 list price!?!??!!? Were you into some hardcore racing or something to get an engine that expensive? I found the new drake .12 Trinity engine, [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Trinity-12-Draked-Platinum-Race-Motor-TRI40009_W0QQitemZ110145115282QQcmdZViewItem]HERE[/link]
