Default RB Products S5 L2G, any out there?

i stopped by the lhs today and ordered a new mill since both my STS's blew up last week. i went for the 5 port S5 since i have driven the 3 port S3 and it seems to be bottom heavy, meaning it has a lot of bottom end and mid but little top. fast enough to race but i am looking for a little more mid to top. modding is also in the future. does anybody have any feedback on the new S5 or even the old S5? just to see what kinds of problems were had, leaks, bearings, lifespan. any info on the S5's is greatly appreciated. i'll proabably be buying my friends S3 soon too for my truggy.

New S5 and old S5? they are both the same thing, the L2G is just a head.

Yeh, I had one for a while in an XB8, it's a bottom ender as well though. Good bottom, excellent mid, mediocre top.

good choice, you won't be sorry. i have about 7 gallons on my s5 and it still has pinch. it seems the s5 can make you a faster driver on a track because the power is usable and forgiving. easy to tune. don't be discouraged for the first gallon, it won't run to it full potential until it is fully broken in. i just started breaking in my new ws7 l2g, happy with it as well.

not happy with the first gallon? my buddy broke in his S3 and it was fltying around the track 1/4 turn rich. if the s5 has similar characteristics i'll be happy. i just hope it has a little more bottom end than my sts's, and last longer too.
