Is there major differences between C6BB and WS7?
Looking at getting a new RB L2G engine, what makes the C6BBT II almost $100 more than the WS7T when they are both claimed by the manufacture to be the world winning engines?

Different caracteristics. WS7III is a high end screamer and the C6 is just brutal everywhere but with a bit less top than the WS7III.

iv'e heard the c6 has a brutal bottom end and descent top and the 7 has a more smooth power curve with descent bottom and crazy top. either way you'll be fast.

The key with the C6BB (IMO) is to gear your car so that you're in the power band almost all the time. The power band is wide on the C6BB.
In other words gear it low and it becomes smooth to drive. I run 13/48 in a 777 SP2 and XB8EC. I tried 13/46 and also 14/46 and to me that made it more difficult to drive since you're starting off with a relatively low rpm on the engine and then the power just kicks in suddenly.
Personal opinion. Take it for what it is.
