Modded .26 or .21
I'm looking to pick up a new motor for racing real soon. I currently have a SW v2 .26 and really like it. Super easy to tune and purrs all day long. Would it be worth it to pick a new one up and get it modded? I am also looking at the go tech .21 5 port. Thats about as much as im willing to shell out. What would be the more potent mill out of the two but still fuel efficent? It's going into a St-1.

Well, if you're gonna try to get one of those modded, it would cost about $100, if you mod the SW, or $300 for the modded Go.
Why don't you look into some already potent racing machines that can be modded to further increase performance later on down the road, rather than modding a lower end engine for max performance.

Ninja engines are right in that $300 price range and run like Jesus on wheels. Lol.
I run a Ninja .28 on my X1 CRT, and it has more than enough power to throw my CRT around with ease.

If you ask anyone about these engines, you'll hear nothing about good things. I've even heard that the .28 is the "ultimate" truggy engine. Although, the thing about Ninja engines, you have to run specifically Ninja glowplugs with them, due to the threads.

Oh, by the way, the Ninja engines come in an amazing box as well. Lmao. I was amazed at even the quality of the box it came in. It was a plastic case, really, not just a box.

My personal choice would be the Jammin JPX .21 out of the line up you just posted and have it modified. You wont regret it thats for sure.
