Mach 28 same as?

Mach 28 same as?
I have heard that the Mach 28 is almost the same as the LRp 28 and looking at images it looks like the sleeve is the same. Is this true, or is my head playing tricks on me [>:] Just checking, not trying to start a flame war but I would love to spend $40 on a sleeve vs $60....

I have never heard that they are the same.. The new red Losi Mach 28, I don't know. But I don't think so - Losi has the 454 - which IS the same as the Spec 3..
This was something that always came up in losi forums - should so-and-so get a Mach 28 to replace the Mach 427, which is a .26.. But almost everybody would always say, no, the 26 in this case is better than the 28.. The Mach 28 had a rep for being fairly lame.. Then there's the Hobao Macstar 28, which has a rep for being outride terrible..
