is it worth it?
i've got a rb c5 engine i dont use, it has a bit rust on the crank, no sleeve, piston or rod, an the needles on the careburetor are hard to adjust, is it worth fixing it?

In general, I've always gone by that "when the cost of parts exceeds 1/2 the cost of a replacement engine, it is no longer worthwhile to fix it."
There are exceptions.
An exception would be sentimental reasons, when you really want that old friend to run again.
Another excpetion would be when you really can't afford a new engine, but can afford the repair parts.
Mind you, if it was a crappy engine to start with, a necessary rebuild is merely a good excuse to upgrade to a better engine.

but this was only a engine i got free when i bougth some engines and cars used, so i did not pay for it, so if i fix and sell it, will i make some money then? also needs some ceramic bearings for this, my two rb ws7's an my os speed vzb.
