New GO .21 5 port won't run
I've recently purchased a GO .21 5 port for my buggy and I'm having trouble with it burning all of the fuel. It smokes like crazy and yet it overheats too. Could this problem be related with the type of plug, or maybe, the shims. If anyone else has seen this problem and has suggestions, please help.

Thanks for the response. I have wondered if maybe the clutch could be enguaging too soon. I'm using 2 aluminum clutches and 2 composite clutches with silver springs on both; and an aluminum flywheel. Could any of this be the problem? I've replaced every bearing in the drivetrain and rebuilt all 3 diffs. Everything seems to be working smoothly.

Funny you should mention the temp gun. Untill just now, Ihad forgotten that Idid try a different one. The engine just doesn't seem consistant. I want to think that it's leaning out because of an air leak, but I don't have trouble accepting other possibilities other than the engine because 2 other engines before this one acted the same way. One engine, V-Spec, blew up. The other engine is the original Losi 350 that came with the car.
