.12 engine for RRR
Ive finally had enough of my Picco JLR unfortunately, so Im getting rid of it and going for a new engine.
(the engine just doesnt last me long, the rods keep destroying the lower bushing, and tuning becomes yuck once the pinch is gone)
So the options I have chosen are these:
-Novarossi 353 08 version with 2630 pipe
-Sirio XXX with 2653 pipe
-RB Touring 9 or 10, junior or not.
I just want something that will still be able to have great power, but tune fairly easily, so Im leaning towards the 353.
Ive seen the XXX and it goes really hard, and I think Ive seen the RBs running pretty well too.
Feel free to post other engines as well, Im just shopping really.

RE: .12 engine for RRR
OK, ive decided that once I have enough money to fix my car and stuff, I will get the RB M3 Tuned from Murnan Modifed.
On the site, under the Modified version, it says that the compatible pipes for it are the Novarossi 2630, 2652, 2601 pipes.
Of these pipes, what would be a good all rounder ranging from a short track, to a longer track where I will change 2nd gear from 21/56 to 22/55 so it doesnt run out of revs on the straight.
I can get the 2630 and the 2652 with 5-fin or 6-fin manifolds for $100 each set, so I plan on getting the 6 fin combo since i rarely drive on the long track I was talking about - just keep it in the middle range, but which pipe would be better? If it comes to be cheaper to buy it over the net instead of buying local, Ill do that.
So I usually drive small tracks, not that large that I have to lengthen 2nd gear, but enough to get some good speeds. All I need is a good pipe for it and thats it!

i have the rbm3 atm and i have run the 2601 and the 2660 with it so far, if you want the most power go with the 2660, but if ya want fuel milage go with the 2601, i got 6 mins + with that pipe. alot of guys run the rbm3 at my track and its mixed between the 2601 and the 2660. hope this helped

Sweet as, Ill get the 2660 with the short non-conical manifold for the larger tracks, and use the 2601 with medium conical for my local track.
I just read on some forum about Nova engines, that the '08 353 is slightly less powerful than the '09 or '10 version, and I was almost about to get the '08 353, since I read somewhere that its better than the others, weird hey? Ah well, at least when I finally get the M3, ill still be happy no matter what, just wanting to be different from the rest!
Can I ask, are you Chris Steele?

Sweet, I guess Ill be getting a good combo, especially with the short conical manifold. Now Im just hoping that my car is correctly setup! Im sure Ive solved my problems, and now just have to fine tune it for certain conditions.
