RE: Carden 35% edge or extra
Hello,
You should go with an Edge for 3d and Freestyle. I own a Carden 35% Cap 232 and love it, but dollar for dollar a much eaiser plane to build and will fly 100% as good if not better than most is and Aerotech Kit. I have 3 of them and you won't have to wait 3 months or more to get one. Ive seen their Edge perform and its really nice. Just for thought before you spend more money.
Thanks

RE: Carden 35% edge or extra
Hi,
When I was in Florida last January I flew their Edge. I contacted them about picking up a Velox 35% Kit while I was there. I had hoped to fly it but he sold his Velox and was flying his Edge. Very impressive plane. Rollers are slow and smooth, Harriers are nice without wing rocking. The plane also slows down real nice for landings. Im ok at some 3D/freestyle but I don't think you could go wrong. The weight was 26 1/2lbs with a 3W106 on mufflers.
I had no trouble building my Velox. The Edge builds the same way. I had my Fuselage 80% completed in 8 hours less the Vertical fin and cowl fit. Overall it took me two weeks of partime work 6 days a week. So far anytime Ive contacted John hes right there or emails, he gets back within a few hours. So I would say they are up to par with anyone in my book and I would buy from him again without a problem.
