Would the pro Carden builders please step forward?
Hey guys, I'm need to get in contact with some professional Carden builders. I am trying to price out what it will cost to replace my Carden and would like to get some quotes from different builders. If you could PM me or respond to this message I'd be very appreciative. Thanks guys.

Be careful what you ask for. Just because someone charges you to build a plane doesn't make them a pro.
Of course if you're looking to make this kind of investment I'm sure you already realize that.
I know when I build a plane for someone I end up working for about 50 cents an hour cause I'm so darn slow.....
but good wine and cheese takes a long too
good luck

I'm mainly price shopping right now. I won't make any decisions until I settle with the insurance company.

Ryan,
Get a quote from Brian Hueffmier, 'Built by Walt', and one other Builder from Dennis directly from Carden. That will fulfill your Insurance requirements. And Have Dennis from Carden indicate to you in an e-mail that not anyone can build what you just lost. Most Builders with a few Planes out there and have wins under their belts, command kit cost and on up, to build them.
Selling your Insurance company is going to be the hard part.

Thanks Ward, I'll be sure to call Dennis tomorrow. I have one recognized builder sending me a cost breakdown for a build, and I will get a couple other estimates as well. It's easy to quantify the components and kit cost itself, but not as easy to quantify the cost of a pro built airplane. My stolen plane had flown in the XFC and Don Lowe Masters so I'm sure Dennis can attest that it was a well-built aircraft.
