Default Cuda with a Moki

Hey everyone, this plane looks exciting. Just wondering if it's possible to bolt a Moki 1.8 or 2.1 on the front of this thing and have it perform decently.

Thanks!

Default RE: Cuda with a Moki

my experience with the cuda was with a da-50 a moki 210 might work however it would definatly be interesting to get the balance right.. and the engine might still not have the required thrust for 3d (what the cuda was designed for..) but i would question why you would want the moki in the first place

respectfully,

Menice

Well, I own 4 Moki's, that's why I'd want to use it. I was just curious though, I am looking at stepping into gassers. I have an 80" Extra 260 with a 1.8 on it that weighs 18.5 lbs. and it hauls around pretty nice.

I own a Cuda w/ a DA50 and the DA is a great engine. But so is the Moki 2.1. My biggest concern is a pump, because it will be very tough to get the fuel tank close to the firewall.

Although my DA's are great, I love my OS 160 FX, nothing runs smoother and it is just simple and problem free.

I will say the Cuda is a project to build.
