IMO Both the newer Turbo Saab's and the GT Mustangs are cool cars. Though I lean towards the Mustang. To be fair the Mustangs and some other Ford products had a problem with cheap, poor, fuel tank designs. The Mustang and Pinto were the worst. I recall I was in a Pinto when it was rearended and gas was all over the rear of the car and the road, fortunatly there was not spark or heat to ignite it. Those problems have long since been solved. I switched over to Toyata's in the 80's because I had such poor luck with the poor quality of American cars in the 80's. The Toyata was a very dependable car so we bought a Mazda 626 and it blew the engine and later the transmission, so after kids we bought a Dodge Caravan and it was the second most dependable car I ever had. So back to all American with a Ford Taurus and Jeep Grand Cherokee now. 4.7 HO V-8 in the Cherokee. Pulls out smartly for such a small V-8.
