Default ATX Fuel Tank Problem

I've just taken off my fuel tank because it wasn't sucking fuel into the engine. I took it off, and realised that the filter inside the fuel tank has come off the valve [] The only thing is, how do I get it back onto the valve? I dont feel like cracking openin the fuel tank to put it back on

Karl,

That sounds like a problem. You can't open the fuel tank. You need to get another tank. How did it come off?

Im not sure, i just noticed that comething wasn't right because the fuel wasn't going through the fuel line despite priming the engine :-( Maybe vibrations through use?
