I messed up my nt16 engine got any good replacement suggestions ?

Its and easy engine to rebuild... What happened to it? why not replace with same?

I had problems with the pullstarter on my nt16, never could get it sorted so I put an O.S 15cvr engine in and it has been brilliant since day one. I would say though, if I had been able to get the parts to convert the nt16 to bump start, I never would have changed engines. The torque from the Cen motor is something else.

the cen pullstart is a generic unit that fits most other engines... just match up bolt pattern on plastic cover.... the biggest problem is the one way bearing... keep it clean and warm and it works great.. I keep 2 extra complete units just in case...
