Please could anyone tell me how long the blue and red gear's on my MT2 should last? and also what batteries would you recommend for the servos on the car as the standard AA batteries dont last that long.
Thanks

It sounds like the mesh on your gears might be to tight. I run a single speed with a 13 tooth clucth bell and my gears has lasted quite awhile. The only gears that I have seen are red I didn't know they made different colors.
Ofna has a 6 cell rechargeable reciever pack with charger for around 20.00 dollars US. Which I recomend if you are running your truck alot, try to get at least an 1100 mah pack I have seen them as high as 1400 and I think Trintiy has just released even higher mah cells (higher the mah the longer the runtime on the pack).

ONCE U GET THE MESH RIGHT LOCKTITE THE ENGINE DOWN AND THEY WILL LAST U AWHILE I FAILED TO DO THAT FIRST TIME AND STRIPPED ALL MY GEARS SINCE THE NT-16 VIBRATES PRETTY STRONGLY. I PUT A 1200MAH HPI NICKEL HYDRYDE 5 CELL IN MINE AND IT ROCKS 2-3 HOURS USUALLY BEFORE IT RUNS OUT

to get the meshing right put a piece of papaer between the gears and push them 2gether then put loctite on all the screws and tighten them up then turn the gears to get the paper out and the meshing should be perfect
