I've run my Genesis against a Mammoth, Monster GT and a Savage. The Genesis is not the fastest but easily tops in low end power and amazing off the line quickness. Given all its torque it has fallen way short in terms of durabilty. Since i've got the truck I've had to replace my fare share of parts some of which are probably due to driver error
. I think a lot of its problems stem from shocks that are so stiff and slow to respond its as if the truck does not even have any. I was watching my brothers Mammoth today as the frame would 'lean' into a turn. My genesis just flips as it has almost no dampening at all. What success has anyone else had in getting control with the shocks.

I have read in a few posts that the standard shock oil is quite heavy and makes the shock action very stiff, changing to a lighter oil would certainly help the overall handling. Also try removing the 9th and 10th shocks to see if this helps at all. It should lower the ride height and will also allow you to mount the body lower which, in my opinion, looks much nicer. You could also e-mail Andrew Smolnik to see what set up he runs in his race Genesis. The thread with his e-mail is called 'Genesis 46 race mode'. Hope this helps.
