after losing one of my drive cups from the centre shaft, i went to my lhs to get another 1 or 2. he had none in but could order them, but they take about 2-3 weeks to get them in. i scanned the shelves and found a pair of kyosho drive cups that will work fine. the part number is AE57 and there is also a "200" on the pack - i saw some the same with a "300" on there and they were twice the price.
the ones i got were £2.50 for a pair, cheaper than the cen bits, but more importantly - he had them in stock!
just thought id let u know....

you know, with all of the research that all of us have done finding parts from other manufactorers that work on our trucks, you would hope that CEN would try to find more local distributors. I really rue the day that I got mine because I have to wait a week every time something happens. My only other option would be to buy a whole other truck to use for parts. Who knows what will break next. Not that the fun factor line is more prone to failure than any other truck, but I have a lot more downtime due to waiting for parts shipment, than should be expected. When I get another truck, mine is going on eBay. I don't think I want to give it to my son.

absolutely mate. i have to check some of my old posts to remember what some of my parts are from...
the FF047 has never broken on me,by the way, i just forgot the threadlock on a couple of parts (11t pinion as well) and paid the price.

Poor judgement... I had the same part break on my MT2 2 weeks ago and had to order it from offshore electrics... They got the parts from cen direct.. My LHS didn't stock the part because he said no demend for it... He's not wrong.. 2 years and mine broke because the set screw stripped in place and I had to cut it off... My problem was too much threadlock... The kyosho part is a good find, I'll check my kyosho stash.. One thing I did find is that the USA-1 Nitro dogbones are the exact same length as the Cen and twice the thickness... the only problem is the ends are too large to fit in the stock drive cups.. I will look and see if I can enlarge the stock drive cup slots.. they are very close... The fronts are cvd's but they are huge and I don't see a way to fit them because the hub carrier is different...

nothing even close!!!! besides these trucks are getting pretty rare by now... Mines built in mid 90's.... love the thing so don't want to do much to modify it or damage any parts... I do know the dog bones are still being used in various kyosho trucks and inferno buggies.... the hubs and a-arms are totally different than anything on the cen..
