Default Hey Mt2 guys!

Hey guys, I recently bought a MT2 and im loving it so far but its only 2wd. How can I convert it over to 4wd? I have looked thru the manuals and cant find anything about it. Please help?

Also im looking to get some good upgrades like a bigger fuel tank/roll cage. If somone could give me a link to a good website that is relyable and is neat. I would aprecheate it.

-Thanks

Apparantly the roll bar is really good for stiffening up the chassis. Personally I did my own chassis modification (as I like to tinker!) But for a lot of people it is just the ticket.
For the roll bar:

For a 125cc fuel tank (the MT2 upper chassis brace will have to be modified):

For a 100cc fuel tank (will still need slight modification, but is not as big):

For the 4wd conversion kit:

Do check out the posts here, there is a lot of useful information.....Cheers....

I was told that you can easly convert it to 4wd this is why.

I have a drive shaft going from the gears all the way to the front 2 tires and they have drive shafts too... my guess is that their is a skrew or something missing or not tightend up that i need to... It looks like it has everything alredy thier for 4wd :/

So does your centre drive shaft turn when you rotate the rear wheel? (make sure you rotate both the wheels together)

sounds like a set screw missing or loose from one of the center drive cups... easy to fix and cheap also... mine work themselves loose occasionally.... easy way to check diffs front and rear is to turn one tire at a time.. If the opposite turns in the opposite direction, your ok... then roll the truck forward and back on the front wheels only and see if the rear turns or the driveshaft turns.. that will tell you which drive cup may be to blame.. repeat with the rears down and the front up... hope this helps..

the set screw is a common metric type.. I think its 3 or 4 mm set screw.. just by an assortment pack you will always use them... as far as an easy way to get at the gears... take off the whole rear assembly as one unit from the underside of the chassis.. less dissassembly and easy to change gears that way... I can changed mine in under 10 minutes... 5 if I really rush...

You can order all the correct gears from the site that is in your post.
Their is a parts list on http://www.toyhaus.com/ff4wdmt.html with a link to the 2 speed transmission. You can order from toyhaus or get the part number from them and order from rcmodels. Just use the part number in the search bar at rcmodels.
