Default CT4s not hitting 2nd???

Hi guys can anyone help i just replaced all my belts and cleaned all cogs basically a full strip down put the car all back 2gether and now it runs fine just wont hit 2nd??? now what do i need to look at first and is there a quick fix... thanks in advance

did u try adjusting the tune at all? sometimes my funfactor would do that, turned out to be the weather affecting my tune. if that doesnt work, try loosening the adjustment screw a 1/8 of a turn at a time til 2nd comes back

That's great advise.

First make sure that your vehicle is not binding in the transmission. Then tune the car until you feel you have the correct powerband, reminder, make sure the vehicle is up to normal operating temp before tuning. Once you feel you've got the tuning correct, adjust the 2 speed screw to enable second gear at 1/8th turns as previously suggested. Reminder, make sure your actually running in 1st gear... having cleaned up your vehicle, you may have made the transmission run more efficiantly, and therefore, the car runs in second gear immediatly due to the increased RPM's being delivered to the 2 speed system.

[8D] thanks guys that worked a treat!

the problem was the clutch was not tightened up on the flat part of the spindle!! so therefore it was just spinning!!

all good now tho, cars running nice gonna go take it for a rip now!!
