i have a cen fun factor atx, it has been running well. i changed fuel brands (but the same 16%nitro) the only difference i can tell is the oil content is more in the new fuel.It doesnt seem to go as quick and it wont change into 2nd gear.the old fuel on (i think) 70 ml tank used to run for 6minutes,the new fuel 4min 30sec.Is this normal run time or have i got to lean it out ????

sounds like u need to lean it a bit to get the revs up to change gear. be careful tho, if after leaning it a bit it still doesnt change, then adjust the shift point on the 2nd gear clutch.

What brand of fuel are you using? 16% is a bit too low but it will work. Try to switch to 20%-30%. Like them said, try to adjust the shift point as well as lean the top needle. IF problem still exists, contact us at [email protected] thank you

The fuel that I use is O'Donnels 20% RTR fuel. This also happens to be one of the fuels that CEN recomends. They also recomend Bryons but I have used it and think that the O'Donnels is better. Any 20% will be fine as long as it has no less than 16% oil content.
