Default Genesis body posts -> weak point!

Yesterday I flipped over my Genesis wile test driving without the body....(stupid, I know [&:]).
Broke off one fin of the cooling head and I noticed that one of the rear body posts split where it is mounted to the shock tower.
I had a closer look to this construction and was surprised how weak it was constructed (just the opposite to nearly everything else on the Genesis). There is hardly any strenght left if you dril 2 holes close to each other through a thin plastic rod like it is done with the original posts to fix the posts to the shock tower and fix the lever for the top shocks also to that same thin plastic rod......[:-]
I decided not to replace the original post but instead make a little fix of my own.
I used a piece of alluminium pipe 10 mm o.d./ 8 mm i.d.
Drilled a few holes and was ready in 10 minutes (see the pics).
I believe () this construction wil last!
Maybe one of the "hopup" specialist companys (or CEN.....) could make a nicer looking one, but until then Genesis owners can help themselves with this fix.
