Hello,
I'm kinda new to all of this and I was wondering if the CEN Fun Factor ATX is a good idea. Also on the CEN website there are many different modifications for the Fun Factor. For example, if I get bored of the ATX, can I buy new wheels and a body to make it into an MT or do I have to buy a completely new car.

Thanks for any help/advice

with the funfactor its just a case of changing different combinations of wheels, suspension arms, shocks, and gear ratios.

i originally bought the rally and later bought the mt parts - arms, shocks, wheels and gears, and now i swap between the 2 as i please/run whatever setup i have parts for to get it running...

I also had a question if it is a reliable car, will it break quickly, good quality, handling?

no worries

if u do get a funfactor - check here for suggestions for mods to keep it going. they arent without fault straight out the box, u see.

sorry man missed that 2nd post...

diff cups can be a pain - easily sorted, search for "diff cup mod" on this forum, the chassis has a little flex which is easy fixed too, there are a few ways of doing that, have a look around on here, especially the pics thread, anywhere really, theres quite a bit of stuff on here.

depends how hard u drive/jump as too how much u will break, remember its not a 1/8 buggy, u get what u pay for. ie hard 6 foot high jumps all day will kill it.

handling is pretty good, get a decent hi torque servo for the steering and a 6v pack and ur off! turns very well with a proper servo there.

be careful - they are pretty fast even as standard, the os18cvr-x is proving a popular bashing engine for it, once the original engine seems tame...

How much money approximately it is to switch between the ATX, MTs, Stadium Trucks, and rallys?
