What is a servo saver for? I've been having trouble with my genesis steering servo over rotating when I'm working on it or moving it around. I wanted to know if that is what a servo saver is for, to keep it from moving too far.

Basically it is to save your servo spline/internals from damage when the steering takes a hard hit, instead of transfering the energy into the servo, the servo saver absorbes the energy. They are usuall located on the bellcrank closest to the servo. The more you tighten it the more force has to be applied to it before it will "give". Too loose and it will "give" before the steering reaches full travel. Too tight and it wont "give" with a hard hit.
To alter how far the steering moves overall, adjust the rates on the handset or change the position of the steering rod at the servo arm.
