There are literally hundreds of kits which would fit your criteria perfectly, the choice is totally yours. I would say this, the Fun Factor was my first nitro vehicle and I have learnt pretty much everything from this kit. It is a joy to work on, it is very fast and the manufacturer backup is second to none. Equally importantly, the CEN forum is used by the most knowledgable and helpful people you could wish for. If/ when you run into problems with your truck, there is no better place to come and get the help you need to get it running again. JMO of course.

Hi!, Im new to Rc Trucks too and have bought a CEN MT2. Every thing is fine but i am wondering if anyone outthere would know if i can get some wheel upgrades (to give me more clearence) and if there is any body upgrades because i am a bit bored with the orange!!
Also i am looking into building my own truck and was wondering if it was better to by it bit by bit or to buy a full kit. And what would be the cheapest way? I would apprieciete anyone who could help me on this matter!
Thanks

zak, if you have the MT version of the Fun Factor, there isn't much you can do to get more height, without performing some considerable modifications. PoorJudgement did it by using TMAXX wheels and driveshafts on his FF, this is the only proven method so far by anyone on this forum.
As far as the body goes. Pretty much any truck body designed for 1:10 scale will fit. They may need some minor alterations to things like body mounting holes and wheel arches but nothing too drastic. If you have a look at some of the picture threads, you may get some inspiration.

As far as putting a truck together goes, building from scratch is a very expensive way of doing things and will take months to get all the bits you want. If you buy a truck in kit form, you will have a vehicle that you can use as soon as you have put it together and then change the parts you want to at your leisure. That said, by the time you have done all the upgrades to the kit, it will probably work out at roughly the same price as a complete custom build.
