Default Ok, need some help here from CEN.

Ok, so i found my problem i mentioned in the other fuel tank thread. Everything internally on the trans looks great. However, i found my problem to be some screws holding the external 2 speed gears together. Specifically the inner most gear. However, i have a slight problem. Take a look at the first pic. In this pic, i need to get to the screws behind the silver aluminum piece with 3 notches, and 3 holes.

I need access to this screw, and the others in that gear. You can see the damage done.

Now, this is what the other side looks like.

I was thinking that maybe the clutch shoes popped out, then gave me access to a clip on that shaft. I dont think thats the case here. The shoes appeared to be keyed in a manner that has a lip on each side of the inner shoe. Surrounding another piece, keeping it locked there.

Now, in that same pic you can see the pin on the shaft. Nothing wants to slide off, to give me access to it. Here is another pic, that might help you see something that im overlooking. I hope CENracing, or william has experience with this.

Now, before anyone jumps the gun with the "read the F'n manual", i'd like to add that the manual is NOT accurate for this truck. When i say that, i mean this truck is the limited edition, and the manual appears to be for an earlier generation.

The end of the rod screws off. put a couple durable rods into the holds at each end and unthread the end neadest the gears.

Thanks for the quick reply! Im glad this was only a loose screw problem. Im really enjoying this GIANT size truck. Looks like my bugs are nearly all worked out. Thanks again william!
