Im wanting to get into street cars, so heres my question.
What are the flaws with the ct4s?
Does it really reach 70's mph?
Is it worth buying?
Any help would be GREAT.
Thanks,
-Dallas

Yes - off the shelf it reaches 70mph - but i have no radar so i cant verify... Lets just say it goes bloody quick if u can top second gear!!! After a week - the plastic side cogs were worn flat and the belts ruined - this is due to having no tensioner with the package - u have to buy it separate... I just bought re-placements... There is also an upgrade kit for faster acceleration - this drops your top speed but is well worth it... The kit includes new 16t cogs to replace the 25t ones... I also fitted metal gears from a funfactor(i think)... These require a little mod with a dremel.. Just linish the inside of the cog to fit over the original clutch collar... New tyres are also a must...
Is it worth buying - u betchya!! But just make sure u get that tensioner!! Otherwise u WILL chew the side belt and cogs! Otherwise - a great kit!

Thanks alot for the info! Im currently debating wether i should get my dirtbike rebuilt, or get a nitro car ( the ct4s ) I live in the mountains so I usually buy Savages,etc... but its only a 30min drive to a parking lot, and the ct4's looks sweet!.
Ill keep all of that info in mind.
Currently leaning towards the car, but MX season is close so we'll see..

are probably the best places to look for hopups. Ehobbies is my prefered because they have a search engine.

i only have experience of the cen rally - its pretty good for the price, fast too - especially with an os 18 in there
a better radio would be an idea tho, or at least a new rx and steering servo
