I broke part ff029 on my steering arm twice now. I think this is just a bad quality issue and I was wondering if there is a metal or hop-up replacement for that part. I getting pretty pissed off about this. It's a small piece of plastic that keeps me from enjoying my car. Does any one know if it's upgradable?

If you look at the parts break down is there another # w/ the ff029? Looking at mine ff029 could be a wheel stopper, a lower shock mount, or the upper shock pivot point.

if I remember correctly... FF029 is listed as plastic parts... Actually, the part he is refering to is where the adjustable steering link connets to the hub.. I broke several of these until I used ball ends that pop off in a crash instead of the ones that came with it.. Just so you know.. I have the ball end on the inside near the steering, not on the outside by the hub... seems to hold up better.. What caused them to break in the first place.. The only times I ever broke mine were when I landed badly off a huge jump and when I crashed into a curb during a high speed run...

I don't get how those thing break. Where is the pressure coming from? cenrcer1, what did you do to make this stop happening? Tell me again, I don't understand your wording. If you know where I could get metal ones, tell me please, this happened to me like three times already. Maybe it's because of a bad wheel alignment, it's putting too much pressure on the part. It also seems a little weak and small for it's function.
