Alum Brake for the FF

Default Alum Brake for the FF

I know lots of you have gone to the Alum Brake block. Is the one you guys use the same purple on offered on CEN's website? Can't seem to find the alum brake rod that goes into the block. . .any suggestions. Also as far as brake pads whats everyones recommendations?

The ali brake block is #FFS009. The brake cam shaft is #FF050. I have always found the stock CEN brake pads to be fine, it could be that you need to change the brake shoe or maybe just a small adjustment on the brake lever will make the difference.

I did the same as alvin and now my FF can do stoppies no problem
I was thinking about getting that aluminum spur/brake hub but i haven't as of yet.
