Default nemesis axle

Just would like to post on a upgrade to the nemesis axle. Upon the investigation on the nemesis steer straight I noticed that the axles had some play inside the 23mm hex adapter. So I went to ACE hardware store and bought 4 short screws and 4 washers that are just big enough to cover the O.D. of the 23mm wheel hex. This made the axle tight with the wheel hex. Will post pics later. (I did use loc- tite to keep these in place)

Please do post pics of exactly what you did if you can, or pm them to me. Very interested. Thanks.

Hey cemepoo, how do you like those Commando Bead-lock wheels. Are those the 40 series? Same offset as the stock ones? Do you have any problems bottoming with the smaller diameter? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Haven' drove truck eniugh to give a good report yet. I do think that it handles a lot better an the pavement. Does not try to roll as much. I also lower my suspension in the front to run the pavement style races. I think the wheels a spaced in teards the truck some, but the wheels ar wider than stok. Dont know all theh spec?

I dont remember, i took the broken part of that axle up to hardware store and fitted it. Same with washer. Just remember they have to be short enough not to hit the allen headed set screw that holds the wheel hex on.

I think they are the same product number as the original axles. Just make sure that which ever distributor you order from gets them straight from Cen, so you don't happen to get the old axles.
