After running my car over the weekend without incident (for a change) the car will no longer move backwards. I can push the car forward with ease but when I try to push it backwards it doesn't move at all. If I remove the spur gears and rotate the clutch bell it moves freely in both directions so I don't think the problem lies there. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Was my symptom before my front belt got all messed up. I had small very small rocks between the one of the pulley's teeth. Check very carefully all your pulleys and front differential. I think it's a good idea to clean them with a soft toothbrush regularly.
