Default Magnum / Mt2 FF

I hope this is not a stupid question...

But is the Magnum just a beffed up MT2...

And if it is... can you use most of the Magnum parts as upgrades for the MT2??

I was just looking at the one peice chassis and all of the screw wholes seem to be there...

And the fuel tank looks like a great upgrade.... along with allot of the other parts..

Basically, yea. The Magnum is just that, a modified Funfactor MT2. All the parts should fit the current funfactor line. For the new tank, I believe you will also have to change the top plate to make it fit.

I think the chassis is longer so not all parts are interchangable.I've been looking into getting the magnum parts to add to my mt2 and from what I've seen this is what you need

ff249 chassis 39.99
ff239 center drive shaft 18.00
mx002 gas tank 16.00
ff237 top brace 12.00
ff238 servo mounts 5.00
ff248 gas tank mounts 5.00
ff210 brake seat 5.60
-----------
101.59

All those prices are off http://www.horizonhobby.com/ Other than those parts I think everything else is the same. Except the engine of course.

ff239 - the centre shaft - im guessing that this is slightly longer than the funfactor item due to a longer chassis on the magnum?

my ff centre shaft sometimes pops out on my longer jt chassis when im givin it hell, yes i have fuel tube in the front and rear cups to compensate, but i can be a bit mean with my driving. so id be interested in knowing the length of this shaft if anyone has one/gets one... please?
