What happens is that I can slide the Spur Gear foward and backward on the dogbone, so the little pinyon comes out and lets the wheel come disconnected from the dogbone. However I cannot find a screw to re-tighten whatever has came loose.

I think there is a small 'C' clip that holds the gear on the shaft, but there really is not much room for it to move with the brake there. Are you talking about your gear spins freely? Does it do this in both directions or just 1 direction?

All I did was take it off road and the spur gear slipped and the pinyon fell out which allowed the spur to slip. It looked like the bearing had came loose from the holder.[
