Anyone know what mods do I need to do, to make my CEN Matrix start box compatible?? (something to the chassis, a bigger hole of the flywheel..?).
I have a new OFNA STARTER BOX (No.10247) and my matrix hav a broken pullstart. The rubebr in the starterbox doesnt reach enough.

I used a sanding wheel and cut the edges of the chasis on an angle so the wheel just barely reaches the flywheel. I didn't make the slot bigger just a little deaper on each side of the flywheel.
I can put up pics when I get home if you don't understand what I meant.

Thanks, I was thinking in doing that, I imagine we have the same idea: If you see the access hole of the FW (a rectangle), I should sand the "smaller" edges (I dont know the term in english).
Do you used a shorter engine mount? because i saw in your signature you are running a different engine or just with that mod, the FW will reach the wheel of the Starter box?
Thanks for the info.

Actually I have spacers(1.5MM) to raise my motor even higher because of the large pullstarter on it. So it should reach yours much easier then mine.

HOLD ON PEOPLE!!! You do not have to make any mods. I just set the pegs on starter box and that was all. I still have my pull start on. It works great.
