Default Nemesis Lower CG Chassis?

CEN and anyone that owns a Genesis or Nemesis,

Who thinks that having an upgrade chassis that lowers the center of gravity for our Nemesis or Genesis would be the HOTTEST upgrade for our monster truck racer? Reason I bring this up because it seems to me that the popularity of the Nemesis is diminishing because there is nothing around to really change or upgrade our CEN monster trucks. I mean I have found aluminum suspension arms and stuff like that but nothing to really turn my Nemesis into the race machine that I want. I got the idea for the lower CG chassis from my buddy that got an HPI savage that has that upgrade option. The lower CG chassis lower the engine and tranny a full 12mm giving his monster truck this great aggressive stance and unbelievable handling. If anyone has'nt seen a Savage before the chassis design if very similar to the Nemesis. Anyway main purfose for the post is that I would like for CEN to step up there upgrades for the Nemesis and give us the option of upgraded the porformance of our trucks. I mean jeez I would like to at least see the chassis upgrade and engine mounts so that I can change the size of the engine without having to fabircate my own....If anyone races the .46 is not legal for MT racing in most places. Anyone that feel the same way please post here and hopefully CEN will come through with some good stuff.

Thanks.

I agree with you on the race hop ups idea, but cen needs not be the only mfg of them but because of the total volume of sales in the Nem/Gen trucks no one really wants to step up to it. The Nem/Gen have alot of features already packed into them to be competitive anyway with wheel and tires aside and the .46 is a large part of the weight issue on the trucks too. If you really want some better handling with your 55's you can try out this mod I done and it really does make a huge difference in it's handling and I cannot see why I would bother with a LCG chassis after this. Just check it out. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4112992/anchors_4143422/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#4143422]Suspension Mod.[/link] Read the posts and you will see mine with pics, the original post is on wheel hop but I done this and it has never been a problem with the handling department and only cost me 3 bucks to do it. Now my Savage can't even hang with it. Good luck and let me know what you think.

Bash-m-up,

Looks like Im gonna try that suspension mod, it look really good. And your right, all the after market companies need to jump on board and start pumpin some nice race hop-ups out to us. Hey, with your suspension mod and a LCG chassis the Nemesis would just be killer! It would look sweet and drive like it was on rails.
