Good Airfilter for the Matrix?

Good Airfilter for the Matrix?
Running my car moderatly rich for the break in, even without the body on and with the weather fairly cool (18c) its getting pretty warm (270F in 3 minute runs).
Seems the overly large airfilter is blocking the flow over the motor.
Can anyone recomend a good brand I can stick on it that will help cool it down?

coop im using the filter and tube from the ofna pcr. it moves the filter back beside the motor.
it also allows the body to fit better.
