Default Bout to break-in

Im about to wake my nemesis up tomorrow. But first things first, any hints on what I should do before i start it like check over etc? and also where is the idle screw, Main needle and Bottom needle?!? CEN didnt give me any pictures or discriptions in the manuals..

Sorry Im a noob and its my first nitro!

The main needle (HSN-high speed needle) is on the carb where the fuel line enters, the bottom needle (LSN-low speed needle) is on the slide that pulls out of the carb, and the idle screw is on the side of the carb. As for the first time starting, pull out the glow plug and drop some ARO (after run oil) in the hole to lubricate the piston during the first dry start. Also if you have trouble starting, since their will be sooo much compression, loosen the glow plug up just enough to make it easier to pull start, once started re-tighten the plug. Make sure the air filter is secured well, and test your radio equipment to make sure all servo's appear to be working correctly. Good luck and enjoy

Nice choice!

I reccomend using some low or medium strength locktite on all of the metal to metal screws. This will prevent anything comming loose and will help you get familiarized with your truck. Also, Before starting, make sure you let your glow ignitor charge long enough. A lot of people get too anxious and pull it off the charger right away and then can't figure out why it wont start.
Like michlob says, check your radio and air filter. Also check your wheel nuts and motor mount bolts.

Is the idle screw the black one below the HSN or the one that is on the servo side (where the servo opens the carby) it being the brass needle/screw?

The brass colored one in the slide that is attached to the servo is your LSN.....

That book doesnt say where the needles are! But i found them by looking at a duratrax warhead manual from a friends MT.

wow thats crazy idleing 7 tanks, i used to follow manufactures instructions before as well, but the only real engine break inn process that really works is the heat cycling method, your engines are gonna last longer, with more grunt
