The genesis is a 7 tank idle process isnt it? If so that means you shouldnt have been driving it at all. Did you run it around? I mean you could have got a little anxious and ran it. Even though it shouldnt have done anything. Check you gear mesh and see if they are in contact and that they are touching properly. If you rev it does the gear mesh move or not at all? If not then its not the tranny it could be your crankshaft there for cracking it, but it wouldnt work afterwards. You could and if you did, ran it around and put too much pressure on the crankshaft. But it might not be, Im only new.

With my nemesis it was 3 tank idle then 2 tank run around. See they lowered the tank idle to 3 because it put too much pressure on the crankshaft and sometimes crack the piston/crankshaft.

Also dont know if itd do anything but check your shift points 1 to 2 should be set at 5 turns out and 2 to 3 at 7 1/2 turns out.
