Hello..i'm a newbie in cars..not to RC though. I just got a brand new CEN Magnum NX RTR and while ckecking it i found out that there are no foam inserts between the rim and the tire...is this normal?...i mean ..are the foam inserts optional? i'm inclined more to say that this is normal cause a firend bought the same truck and also found out that there are no foam inserts installed or included in the box..

This is just a question..i just want to know if the are supposed to be included or not...or if i can even use it without the foam inserts.



By the way..what shluld i check - mechanically - before getting into the break-in?

The stock tires are so firm they don't need foams. The MT2 was the same way and used the same tire. Before breaking I would check the mesh between the clutch bell and spur gears is set good. No binding, not too loose and squared up good. Also, put a little blue threadloc on every screw that goes into metal. Especially the motor mount screws. Just remove one at a time and put a very small dab of loctite on it and reinstall the screw. It will save you a lot of headaches.
