Oook...So here's the thing. I bought a CEN Genesis Limited Edition monster truck recently and it contained quite a few defects. They started to appear after i had properly broken in the engine... Anyway the store refused to give me a refund or exchange. So CEN told me to send it in for repairs. I did that, and it took around 4 weeks. I had finally got it back yesterday (Tuesday) and they said it had a bad forward/reverse gear. Ok so i expected it to run all as well and guess what? It was STILL acting up. There were grinding sounds coming from somewhere making the truck come to complete stops. This issue was seen as well BEFORE i sent it to CEN. They didn't even find anything wrong with the Tranny. So why's it doing this again? Anyway, it get muuuch worse... After just 2 minutes of running today, my steering servo totally wrecked on me. So i sent it in for nothing, and got MORE defect results in the end. No one wants to give me back a refund, and CEN wants me to send it AGAIN. I am NOT waiting 4 more weeks so it can just come back in the same condition again. I earned all that money for this, and lookie the results. Now i'm totally jammed...

We have run his truck and offered to fix the truck as well. It's hard to work on the truck when it is not in our possesion though. I personally watched as his truck was tested in the back of the shop and it was in working order before it went back to Florida. He has since sold the truck so there is really no way to resolve this issue any further.

People can be frustrating at times. I used to work service at a GM dealership and we had some real nutjobs come in.
I had one guy who thought his truck was broken because the seatbelts locked up if you pulled them out too fast. I told him taht was normal but he thought I was lying to him... LOL
Maybe there was nothing wrong wtih this guys Gen either.

A customer at a hobby shop got mad at me because I told him he fried the 2.5 in his T-maxx because he was running with no air filter...
"i only run it on road, so that's not the problem, because I don't run it in dirt" he claimed.
Some people just can't be helped.
