so long as u have the threaded clutchbell, they will fit, but only as 2nd gear. first gear uses a m10 thread, 2nd is a m12.
i think hpi do a fully m12 threaded 2 speed bell, that should allow u to use both pinions if u want.

The clutch bell for the the RS4 will work but it is aluminum. I would recommend a steel one from a NTC3

Unless you have a really long straight away I wouldn't recommend that you jump from the stock 14/18 pinions to the 21/27 pinions. It will probably need to go at least 100 feet or more before it will shift into second gear and then it will need to go another 100 feet before it tops out in second. Providing that the engine can even pull the higher gears. These are probably real conservative estimates.
The CT4 and CT5's use the same pinions as the TR4 and go in excess of 70 mph.
I would recommend a 16/20 pinion or maybe a 18/22 pinion if you want more speed and still be able to run it around a track.

rolland beat me to it...
id be interested how those ratios work out with the stock motor. 16/20 with an os18 on my rally was very fast with no real loss in acceleration, i enjoyed it a lot. not sure how the stock motor would have liked it, but the tr4 is different i guess, gearing wise etc, so maybe worth a shot.
i reckon a tr4 with something like an os18tz and 16/20 pinions would really take some beating, but ive never heard of anyone doing that? is there some reason why not? wont a rear exhuast engine fit? it would be a right kick ass underdog if it would work.

I'm all for seeing how fast you can make it go but with the 21/25 gearing you will need a long straight away.
The engine mounting looks like the same setup as the CT4/5. To switch to a big block you would need the CT4 mounts and exhaust.
Don't forget to let us know how it works out.
