I recently bought an Airtronics MX-3 Radio for my Genesis to replace the Impact 3 Radio. The Impact 3 radio has either 50:50 or 70:30 throttle/brake travel and I found no problems getting the brakes powerful enough to stop the thing on the 50:50.
The MX-3 radio only has only 70:30 and I find I just can’t get the brakes to work at all really, even with the brakes dragging on idle.[
]
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get them to work properly?

Have you tried adjusting the EPA (end point adjustment) on the radio for the brake. It will allow you to force the throttle arm to move further when braking.
