Hi all,
following on from my other post I picked up an MT2 off ebay! Totally stock, and been used about twice (there is not a speck of dirt on the car and all the bearings are play-free.
The wheels look a bit noncy though, so are there any options for slapping some chrome looking ones with lower profile tyres? Something along the lines of the Genesis?
EDIT: I've found these on ebay, they are 12mm fitment. Does anyone know if the Seben rims will fit? £18 including tyres is pretty good over here!

Cheers!

well, hte MT2 does have 12mm hex's, but I'm not sure about the offset.
Proline makes a fair few 2.2" tires and you can get chrome or gold rims from cen @ www.customrccars.com

They look like they may well go on ok, but those type of tyres arent generally rated very high. Shame though man, they do look the part, and like you say, for the price it might be worth trying them anyway...
What sort of surfaces do you run it on is the question to ask yourself when choosing tyres. Oh, and at what speeds? (ballooning tyres are no fun at all)
Theres loads of other wheels that will fit, have a search around on here and in the gallery section - pm the people with wheels and/or tyres that you want, to find out what they are - it works a treat for me mate.
