Default clutch question

Does anyone know the default clutch adjustment. Apparently i have been fooling around with the clutch and now upon starting the car all the tires spin without even accelerating. Is it....A) tight on bell
B) semi-tight onto bell
C) Loose onto bell

Any help is appreciated

Which vehicle? There may be something specific someone could offer for a certain vehicle. In general, your clutch shoes should not be dragging on the clutch bell at all. They should be held down with springs and only hit the clutch bell when you give it gas and the rpm's go up enough to push the shoes out toward the clutch bell. When the motor is off, there should be no drag on the clutchbell.

sounds like to me you might have a broke spring or a damaged bearing or shoe, take off your motor and check that and then let us know.

yup, it was a very worn and loose clutch spring. I decided to go with Cen's Centriforce clutch now for my CT-5. Thanx guys
