Default CEN MT-SPEC 3.0

Has anyone seen this? Looks like the Magnum with the old MT2 shell.

yeah, theres a thread about that on cens forum. They took all the old FFs and gave them Magnum/talon parts and new names.

So long Funfactor series... It wasn't really the coolest name anyway. lol

Hey Dustin...

What happened to the Forum on CEN's website? It's gone...

I finally figured out the throttle servo problem on my MT2.... the servo was buggered... it would loose power and stay where it was left last signal. Seeing I bought so much stuff off e-bay (spare engines, chassis & parts etc).... I had a spare servo... put it in and no more problems!!

Taking it out tomorrow on a smoother playing area in hopes not to keep breaking the diff cups (haven't done your mod yet).... should have lots of fun with it and my Savage X.

Oh... seeing that I had a spare chassis.... I took the front CV axles out of the spare and put them in the rear of my good one.... no more worrying about loosing rear dog-bones... and no need to shim the dog bones to keep them centered. I'll see how that mod works tomorrow!

I may or may not sell the MT2 depending on it's performance tomorrow. I like it cuz it's faster than my Savage X.... so I play with the CEN for speed... and the X for bashing... it's tough as nails!

yeah, cen's forum tends to get messed up for a fw days at least once a month.... I dont know why they can't seem to get it fixed.

The CV's on the rear work good, that what I always ran. Only thing is, they are more expensive if you do manage to break one.
The MT2 is a rather mediocre truck out of the box, but it is pretty easy to work on, and with some fairly inexpensive modifications, you can have it pretty solid and very fast.
Check out a few of the user galleries from people in this forum on funfactor threads, you will see some pretty sweet stuff.

The new NX line- mt inspired geometry and plastic has actually made some leeps and bounds....
This car can even be up graded to a race worthy truck...
I dont trust the stock spur so I go with steel... be sides that box stock its a solid truck.
The chassis is now a one piece and the tank is like three times as big... no joke this is a club racers dream... its got the matrix tank in that bad boy... people love to hate CEN but a few lunsfords and some pro-line treads this car is like a 4 wd rc-10 gt
try some 35wt up front with 30 in the rear...hole shots all the way around with 359s this thing gets protested!!!!!!!!!
3.0 could win a national like its old big brother- is NORRCA still around?[:-]
