hey all, i just found this forum after purchasing my new r/c car.

ive gone through alot of post about the ct5s and ive seen all the pics of it and have alot of questions that i hope can be answered.

firstly: in the package i bought from local hobby store, they gave me a ct5s with remote separate(has been fitted) for 430(aud).
the car was their show model and was brand new, but i found a few faults on it and wanted to know if these were normal or manufacturing faults.
1- the roll bar or carry handle was missing(is it an extra?)
2-the right rear wheel was facing in(not cambered, angled in---looking from top). i found that the hubs on each side were opposite. which way do they go?
3- plastic exhaust???thought it came wit a composite one stock.

and also, with the car, what comes with it? i just got a box with tools and other stuff for servo's. whats the deal with the 2 gear ratio thingo's-the high speed, and the accel gearing. is it a separate gear ratio or is it just an adjustment that can be made.
and i didnt get a manual, does it come with one? i found the exploded diagram one the net.

im only gonna be running car in parking lot(no racing-well racing pocket bikes and 50cc quads), so i dont need the high speed right now.

your inputs would be greatly appreciated.
(i do have further questions for people who can help me with these problems)

they have no handle on these cares, like the Nemisys does. sounds right on the hubs. you ll need a little angle in it, depending on how you have it set up to drive ofcourse. the exhaust IS composite, not plastic. i swapped my muffler for a traxxas .15 tuned pipe. WORKS GREAT and has a more bity sound, and performance has improved. especailly off the line.


for the gearing, the car comes set up for track running. you ll need to swap the gears and belt on the rear to get the Taller gearing for TOP Speed. i have yet to change mine from the stock set up.
